[lug] PING strangeness

On newer versions of KRUD, when ping is used I get
this out put..

PING #.#.#.# (#.#.#.#) from #.#.#.# : 56(84) bytes of
data.
Warning: time of day goes back, taking
countermeasures.

Older installs don't do this.

1. Is PING checking something new? If so can I turn it
off?
