[lug] Connection problems

I get the following:

$ ssh -l chris -v [IP]
SSH Version 1.2.30 [i686-unknown-linux], protocol version 1.5.
Standard version.  Does not use RSAREF.
pyramid: Reading configuration data /etc/ssh_config
pyramid: ssh_connect: getuid 500 geteuid 0 anon 0
pyramid: Allocated local port 1023.
pyramid: Connecting to [IP] port 22.

And then it just sits there...
