I actually have the External Cisco 675 (older, reads the CAP line
encoding protocol, rather than DMT). That is what I was
comparing size, weight, and heat specs of the two. My mother-in-law had
the Intel at her house, and but I was actually thinking about the new
USB external Intel, and you said internal, oops! But I don't remember
seeing anything driver-wise for that one either. Assuming the card has
the required hardward to decode the high frequency signal from the phone
line, and turn them into ATM packets, then it does seem like it would be
similar to an ATM PCI card, but who knows.
