Time Division Multiple Access.  'older' digital cell phone technology.
CDMA is more common now (Code Division Multiple Access).

The job would probably involve sitting in front of a Solaris box watching 
for errors in a switch at AT&T.  Cell site goes down and an error shows 
up.  Look up the error code and call for help/fix something.
