[lug] dynamic IP works, but want static

I just did a fresh install of RH 7.2 on a machine that previously was set up to use a static IP
address.  I can now get the machine onto the net with pump, but I don't know how to get it to use
the old static IP address.  /etc/hosts is set up as before when the machine was using a static IP.
 Can someone tell me what file(s) I need to modify to get it to use the static IP address again?
