[lug] How to configure Routed to transmit RIPv2 rather than RIPv1

I tried adding the following line in /etc/gateways and it still doesn't do
it;
I only see RIPv1 response coming out of Routed.

if=eth0 ripv2_out

I got the source "netkit-routed-0.17", I don't see the code
that processes lines in /etc/gateways that do not start with
'net' or 'host'.   Did I not get the right source?
