This hasn't exactly been a particularly hot topic. There have been about
three posts suggesting that maybe the BLUG should create a charter, and at
the least, elect officers in order to give me a break. There have also
been a small handful of posts both for and against some of the possible
new meeting locations. All in all, only about 10 people have shown any
interest in planning for next years meetings.

Since I think it is time for someone new to step up to the plate, I just
don't think it makes sense for me to keep pushing this. I certainly want
the group to continue on, and will help to ensure that you get a new
location etc., but it is really up to you people to decide what you want
to do, how you want the group to run, and even if you want to have
physical meetings?

While it is flattering that everyone seems to be content with the current
arrangement, I do think that we need to get some new people involved with
the group or risk becoming stagnant. In order to force the issue, it
looks like I must personally refrain from scheduling any future BLUG
meetings. Otherwise, I think we will simply continue on in this mode.
