[lug] High Availability and Failover options

My company develops almost exclusively on tomcat/java/linux.  I do the
setup of the tomcat servers (I don't do any programming, so I'm not much
help on the failover of session variables).  If you had a specific
question about getting tomcat 3.3 running on your home machine, I might
be able to help.  I've found the documentation for tomcat to be
reasonably good.
