[lug] OT Memory question

I tried the GigaByte usenet group without success on the following...

I have a GigaByte GA-7DX MB with the following BIOS settings for ECC
memory:

1.  Disabled
2.  Check Only
3.  Correct Error
4.  Correct+Scrub

I have #1 figured out, but what exactly do the other settings do?  Which
one is preferred?
