[lug] ssh problem

HI,
I am experiencing a strange ssh problem with one of my systems:  I can't ssh 
into it anymore.
On the client side I get the log as listed below, the sshd server stops its log 
with: "debug1: waiting for ssh2_msg_newkeys \n closed".

I don't see any firewall denys on either side.

Any ideas about what may be going wrong are appreciated.
