[lug] Docs on Traps during boot? (Somewhat OT)

Is there a list somewhere of the kinds of traps you can get when something 
goes wrong during boot? 

On a machine with an Award bios, after trying to upgrade an NT server 
partition to Win2K server, the machine is unable to boot to the hard drive 
(at one point the bios seemed unable to recognize the hard drive at boot time 
at all). 

Running 'fdisk /mbr' changed the display from Trap 001 (plus register dump) to
Trap 006 (plus Register dump). 

Any pointers to appropriate docs would be gratefully accepted.

I know this probably means the machine is dying, but it would be nice to get 
it to limp along for a while longer... or at least know which piece of 
hardware needs replacing most: the motherboard/disk controller, or the drive.
