Yes, I do run my screensaver on random, and the result was basically what
you've described.  Just looked at the URL you gave and that matches what I
was seeing.  I also just ran the webcollage command and that duplicated
the effect.  Can't say that I like it.  Seems especially odd for a
screensaver to overwrite my desktop image too.
