Well you probably still want to 'surf.'  Mozilla and Konqueror are nice 
choices.  If you are really interested in security, focus on dropping 
services and limiting the code base you are depending on.  Openbsd is 
really good at that.  Linux can be as good with work.

Lynx is a personal favorite.
