[lug] VMware trouble

I've been using VMWare-2.0.4 for a while now with the 2.4.17 Rawhide 
kernel from Red Hat with absolutely no problems. The VMWare kernel 
components have the same patches needed by VMWare since I upgraded to 
kernel 2.4.9.

I have not tried VMWare-3 yet.
