You should have no problem with that. I ran both for a bit on my home
system.

The only problem I'd be concerned about is resource sharing (disk bandwidth,
for instance) if you have a heavily loaded system.

Is it possible to co-host both of these databases on the same server? 
I'm currently running PgSQL but have some users that would like to see 
MySQL. I am guessing I would run into problems running both db's, but 
I don't know for sure. Anyone run into this before? Thanks for any
