[lug] ftp problem

Greetings,

I just tried to connect to an ftp server (ftp.demon.co.uk/pub/unix/httpd,
via Netscape 4.77) and received the following msg

	------------------------------

Could not login to FTP server

Sorry, you must allow reverse DNS lookups.
Contact your system administrator.

        ------------------------------

Is this an ISP issue? ... or an ident issue?  My hosts.allow has:

ALL : in.identd

and hosts.deny:

ALL : ALL EXCEPT in.identd

I don't run DNS, and have dialup internet access.
