Perhaps that's why teachers steeped in academia often prefer Linux 
to Windows (Windows being the employer's OS of choice?).

Or maybe they teach Linux just to annoy the students, who overwhelmingly
prefer Windows when arriving on campus.

Those pesky academics! So out of touch! Don't they realize it's a
Windows world?
