Not long ago they did just that. I had some friends that updated their
XP (i believe) box w/ the latest sec patch from MS & samba broke.
There was a fix on the samba side in a matter of days. Always check
one machine first.

here's something to condiser as well. the client license for 200 users
will be quite expensive. think of the machines you could build for
file serving/auth for the cost of the licenses alone.
