I was doing an install to a Compaq Deskpro 4000 5166MMX this weekend using
Mandrake 8.1 and all goes well but the video in X is goofy with the cursor.  
Looks as if there is a 1 inch bar-code next to the cursor.  Also tried Red Hat
7.2 and it did the same.  Installed KDE 2.2.2 with all latest updates in each 
distro case.

Any ideas?  I don't have any system specifics with me.  I may get back with this 
person later to try helping him out.  Just want some ammo to bring along.  His 
video is not integrated BTW.  I assume it's all stock components.
