Proprietary software owners shouldn't have a problem. Even if they wrote
crap code in the first place it shouldn't be that hard to clean it up so that
it will compile for ia64, and if they wrote good software in the first place
it should be like an afternoon's work for an engineer.
But then you may have meant proprietary software /licensees/. Seems strange
to me that you would expect Free Software folks to come rescue people who
have painted themselves into a proprietary software corner.
