[lug] Could not up2date rpm

I've been using up2date since I upgraded to RH7.2,
and really like it. But last week I ran into a problem
when I tried to update rpm. 'up2date' produced the following
error messages:
  There was a package dependency problem:
  A package providing librpmdb-4.0.3.so could not be found
  ...
  Change selection and try again.

Four packages matching the pattern librpm*-4.0.3.so
"could not be found". My version of rpm is rpm-4.0.3-1.03;
What is the recommended way to find those missing
rpm rpms?
