Does it act like it buffers things that are blocked and plays them later?  I have
applications doing that under an older KDE 2 on one machine with the es1371 in it.  It's
funky.  :-)

Especially when what it was buffering were message send/receive sound effects from
something like Gaim.  Quite odd to have them all come out at once later.
