The Linksys cards have a special feature that leaves an extra $75-$85 in your 
pocket.

Seriously, there may be some marginal difference in max throughput and/or CPU 
usage.  But in a day and age when your 100Mb NIC has a 1GHz proc on one side 
and an internet connection measured in kbps on the other it hardly matters in 
most cases.

Sorry, no.

Linksys cards normally claim Linux support on the box.  And run about $20.
