The Logitech wireless mouses and keyboards work perfectly with contemporary
(stable) versions of Linux.
I am using a M-RM67A mouse over USB as I write this (and the wheel works in X,
woohoo!) and have used a mouse/keyboard pair (single receiver, separate mouse
and keyboard) over USB during a RH 7.2 install and over USB and PS/2 (at
different times) during normal operation of that system after the install
without a single glitch.
There is no difference AFAIK between a wired or wireless Logitech keyboard as
far as the PC hardware or OS are concerned. All the magic happens in the
transceiver. (Yes, it's a transceiver.)
They get a little tricky if you have more than one mouse or more than one
keyboard within about 15 ft of each other. You have to monkey with the
"connect" buttons or they will interfere with each other. It isn't a big
deal to fix, but isn't obvious if you don't see it coming. See the Logitech
web site if you need details.
