For reporting:

I am very familiar with Business Objects (www.businessobjects.com). You
can access views from databases such as Oracle and Sybase, but I have
not tried PostgreSQL.

Cognos Impromptu, Powerplay, etc. (www.cognos.com)


I would also recommend looking at the abundant Java based reporting
tools:
	WebCarrier (http://www.ceostar.com/)
	Elixir Report (http://www.elixirtech.com)

Just some thoughts.
