[lug] OT: airline problems (stuck in LA)

Hey,
I know this doesn't belong on BLUG, but hey, I've got a friend in need so 
I'm trying everything.
So yeah, the story is as of 10:30 pm friday MST I very good friend of mine 
is stuck at LAX trying to get to New Zealand. I'm pretty sure my friend is 
using a buddy pass, which denotes using the Delta system. I know there is 
little hope for that, but if there's anyone out there with Delta seniority 
(you business travelers, etc..) or expertice with the system that could 
hopefully make something happen, please email me directly at 
lukephilips at hotmail.com asap, I'll be checking constantly tonight. Also, if 
my friend told me wrong and its not Delta than I've got the American 
Airlines connect secure, but I'll update when I know more / need a different 
airline.
