I think I've missed something here - it's working, mostly - at least you can tell it's me.

What I'm confused about is the following:

I've a key that is signed by:
pub 1024D/9274F1CE 2000-09-27 Kenneth D. Weinert (Personal Email) <kenweinert at attbi.com>

I have two additional uids:

uid Kenneth D. Weinert (Quarterflash Development Group) <mc at morat.net>
uid Kenneth D. Weinert (Information Handling Services) <kenw at ihs.com>

Now, when I send a message (like this one) to this group and it gets signed I'm using my
mc at morat.net id, but when it shows up in KMail I see this:

Message was signed by Kenneth D. Weinert (Personal Email) <kenweinert at attbi.com> (Key ID: 0x9274F1CE).
The signature is valid and the key is ultimately trusted.

Obviously this is the right key (because it's the same one) but it's just odd to see it as a
different user than what I sent out.

Is this normal? Should I, in reality, have separate keys for separate ids? Have I completely
missed the meaning of a uid?

Thanks in advance.

Don't use a big word where a diminutive one will suffice.
