[lug] regular BLUG list versus announce list?

Yes, it's been my experience that the traffic on the announce list is a
(small) subset of stuff here. If this is true, I don't see a reason to
subscribe to both.

| for pretty much historical reasons. Wayde Allen just happened to Cc:
| the discussion list, and have To: set to the announce list. Or maybe
| it was the other way around. In any event, I tend to copy from a
| previous month's announcement and change the parts that need to be
| changed.
