If you do this as root, what is the output?
  cd /etc/rc.d/
  find . -name "K*" -type l -xdev -print

If you do this, what is the output?
  cd /etc/
  cat inittab | grep -e "^[^#]"

If you do this, what is the output?
  chkconfig --list
