Yes, but your name wasn't particularly associated with the zoo so they had no 
reason to do that.

Online your name is associated with a particular area and once your name 
recognition achieves "critical mass" (it's mentioned enough times in 
association with a project) then you've just become an expert :)

It might not even take being associated with a particular task, just that your 
name is see a lot so you're still perceived as an expert.
