IBM is fairly good about having bootable floppies for their diagnostic
tools.  However, you probably do have to have DOS to extract them onto
floppies.  Once you have the discs, you can then just run the diagnostics
programs and report what you find to IBM.

Another benefit of IBM for those of us local is that the parts come form
Boulder.  I've called at like 5pm in the evening had replacement parts
arrive early the next morning...  I really like IBMs hardware support.
