[lug] Acrobat5 and Redhat8.0 ?

Just installed Acrobat 5.0.6 linux. When I run the binary on Redhat 8.0,
I get the following message. ?!?!?

$ acroread 
Warning: charset "UTF-8" not supported, using "ISO8859-1".
Aborted

eh? Clueless on this one...
