Personally, I think requiring bottom posting is one of the silliest things I
have seen. You mean I have to wade through the message to find what the
person said. Ridiculous.

I'm glad you mentioned top posting, because I've never encountered this
bit of netiquette before. I've always been uncertain about how to best
set my reply defaults. Now that I've read the HOWTO, it makes perfect
sense.
