[lug] OT: ATT Broadband service interruptions?

I have the same problem, but since I'm heading out soon it doesn't make 
sense to call them out.  (Then again, this *is* AT&T and inflicting 
unnecessary work on them is oddly attractive...)

But this makes me wonder if it's a fire hazard, etc.  I'm travelling a 
lot right now, and I've been leaving my system up so I can check my 
mail, etc.  But if this modem could cause problems....
