[lug] SMTP delivery: No route to host

Basic problem is, I cannot send out mail via smtp from any of my machines
behind my linux firewall box. I am using Evolution to send mail through my
smtp server and I get a "No route to host" error everytime I try. I also get
this when trying to telnet to my smtp port:

telnet: connect to address 206.247.117.72: No route to host

I tried setting my mail client to use local sendmail to send mail and got the
same error:

My firewall (Shorewall btw) is set to allow anything out from inside the
network or from the firewall. I turned on the firewall logging and the packets
seem to get sent out through the fw:

I've tried telnet'ing to any of my other server ports on the box (80, 110, 22,
21) and they all connect perfectly fine. I just cannot get anything out to the
smtp port. I have tried telnet'ing to my smtp port from a machine not on my
local network and it works fine. I tried to see if sniffit would see anything
on the firewall box but so far I have had no luck with it. I am totally
stumped, and peeved that I can't send my email from any of my boxes :( This
has never worked as far as I know either since I normally don't use local mail
clients for sending email. Any ideas or what I can try to do? I've also
attached a traceroute for port 25. It seems to get to my server eventually,
but not after a long while. TIA.
