Just keep in mind that you may not have any rights to the utility easements.
There was a similar sounding development in Greeley, T-Bone Ranch West, that
the developer installed the phone system (mini-switch in club house on T-1),
DSL (via Hot-Pipe in Thornton), and cable TV (oops, no franchise). Greeley
has two cable services franchises, ATT and WOW, only WOW has no facility
yet. Anyway, the developer found out he couldn't cross the public street
with the cable since he had no franchise. Qwest took them to court over the
phone system and prevailed and the DSL went with it. Talk about a lot of
PO'ed property owners. AFAIK, Qwest DSL is not an option in this area.
Who's in charge of this deployment? Do you know where are of the utilities
easements are? Are you in the clear with this WRT the local county/city? I
suggest you play wireless card unless you have iron-clad access to the
utilities easements for this development.
