[lug] OT: Mac OS X, Powerbook G4, RS232

This is a long shot at best

Anyone here messed with trying to get an RS232 port on a powerbook
under OS X?  Specificaly USB to RS232 converter cable that does not
depend on 9.2 classic mode.

I have a NI GPIB to RS232 converter that works - but then I have to
re-do all my code - yuck!

Little googleing and a couple calls to apple have turned up notihng.

any help would be appreciated.
