i've just cleanly installed redhat 8 and the screensaver doesn't work 
(i'm using kde).  after the given amount of time, the screen just goes 
blank instead of going to the screensaver i've chosen.  any ideas?

secondly, i like gnome's screensavers a lot better.  i'm using kde, and 
i'm wondering if there's any compatibility between screensavers, and if 
i can use gnome's (and how to do that).
