on a side note..
 
I found a Visual Basic IDE  that is supposed to be  for Linux.
Can build cross-platform apps I guess. Phonex something or other was
what it was called.
 Also found a java IDE that uses swing and awt. Its REALLY nice :)
Netbeans, made by sun i think.
