XFS is in the 2.5 series and had been there a long time.  Mandrake also
has supported it for the last few major versions.  I chose  it for the
Echostar DP721 settop box and I have been using it on my servers and
desktop for a long time (~2 years)

It's a great filesystem,  it's robust,  it has robust tools (repacker,
etc...) and I haven't had a single problem with it.  It also have a very
nice set of file manipulation ioctl, like hole punch and others.  My
only beef is that the code is big.
