I already use x2x, but it is an input events device only, not capable of 
doing more. It allows a mouse and keyboard to pretend it is attached to 
the 2nd machine. Applications themselves do not drag between windows; 
nor do copy buffers from mouse copy and paste. It is in fact x2x which 
inspires me to ask about this, and the fact that it is so useful, but 
doesn't quite do what I need, that makes me think about the final 
functionality needed to come as close to Xinerama as possible, without 
actually having drag and drop across monitors of separate machines.
