Memory failures can be difficult to diagnose.  I had a
bad simm in my ibook that was never caught by any
diagnostic (even Apple's HW test). 

You might try using freeze spray and a hair dryer (or
heat gun if you have it) to selectively stress
individual components in your machine while running to
see if you can narrow down the failure point.  also
check your power supplies to make sure that the
various DC voltages are all within specified limits.
