[lug] Wanted: Linux/Windows Network tech

I am a Boulder County consultant seeking a backup tech for occasional
assistance with clients using Linux/Windows networks.

Essential technical requirements:
1. Red Hat Linux server configuration (expert level required)
2. Windows 98 thru XP including Windows networking
3. Samba server
4. Linux permissions mastery to support a myriad of levels accessed via
Samba connections (expert level required)
5. Basic network infrastructure knowledge (TCP, NIC's, hub, router, DSL)
6. VPN
7. Excellent communication with client personnel and ability to be helpful
and instructive
8. Willing to work only occasionally as an on-call sub-contractor, with a
compensation rate somewhat lower than a full rate you would charge your own
clientele

This working relationship would be a good fit for either an experienced
local consultant who is not fully booked and interested in some additional
work at a special rate of pay, or else a full-time or part-time employee
interested in some moonlighting work.
