How many of us are "home enthusiasts" vs. professional IT workers?

On a related note, my biggest issue with a lot of HR people is 
that they can't get past the "you use it at home, so you can't 
have professional level of knowledge" misconception.  Maybe that's 
true with Windows, I don't know, but I use the same tools on my 
home network that I use at work... and often have a better 
understanding than many "professional" sysadmins since I have the 
luxury of taking the time to really read the documentation, try 
out different solutions, etc.  Yet our resumes are immediately 
tossed "for lack of experience."
