It is not SPAM, mostly because they asked, and nicely at that, for
permission to do it. It would therefore not be unsolicited.
Ferdinand is, I think, right. We don't need to be mean, we can
just politely indicate that this is beyond the scope of this discussion.
Besides, anyone that wants to can send an email to them based on the
posting Chris made.
Principles matter, as in "Free as in Freedom". One of those priciples is
that Linuxers are for the most part wonderfully nice people who have
ideals.
If it's a vote, I vote to end the vitriolic M$ bashing and say no to the
survey request.
