[lug] SCSI DVD writers?

Is there a SCSI DVD+/-RW out there?  I have a full SCSI system with the 
exception of a Sony DVD +/-RW drive.  When I'm using the DVD drive my 
system performance really drags.  At some point in the near future I 
will be producing a lot of data DVD's and I would like to be able to use 
my computer for other tasks while writing the disks.  I've searched a 
few times over the past couple of months, but haven't been able to come 
up with a SCSI DVD writer.
