[lug] semi-OT: data recovery from bad harddrives

Hey,
 I've got a dead hard drive here that it would be really nice to get the
data recovered off of it. I know for sure that I can't use normal "disk
utilities" due to the fact that it is visibly obvious that one of the
microcontrollers on the HD itself have burnt out. I'm thinking of contacting
DigitalMedix, of Denver, anyone used them? Are they any good? Are there
better shops to go to?
