[lug] [OT] C++ framework for daemon/server

Hello list,

since i need to write a small xml-rpc server in c++ (so far
i've done most of my servers in plain c) i'm lloking for an
open source framework/library to write inet servers (providing
such things as double fork to daemonize, close all FDs etc.
Support for multithreading would be a bonus here too :-)
Is there anything like this available or  do i have to hack
my onw version. Somehow i thought this would be exactly waht 
c++ was made for.
