[lug] Who sells good Linux computers?

I second the advice for:
- build it yourself (the time spent researching hardware compatibility is
well worth it)
- newegg.com rocks
You didn't ask, but if you need a laptop, used Thinkpads are really solid. I
have bought 5 Thinkpad 600Es off Ebay for around $300 each and had very few
problems. I think they're down to around $250 now. Run a basic Debian or
whatever, connect to a fast network, and run a VNC session to your fast
desktop somewhere. The screen and keyboard can't be beaten for anywhere close
to that price. At $250, buy an extra one if you don't want downtime.
