[lug] Curious Network Question - 2 NICs, 1 Computer, Double Bandwidth

I am curious.  In my office we have two ethernet jacks.  Both are 10 Mbps.
Since my office is one of the oldest, the rest the building has 100 Mbps
connections.  Is it possible for a single computer to act as a router in the
office and combine the two ethernet connections (20 Mbps)?  I have read that
linux requires that the two ethernet connections have different subnets.  I am
limited to only one subnet.
